Born in 1972, from 1999 to 2000 Alfredo Falvo studied at the International Center
of Photography in New York where he also had the opportunity to do
an internship at the Magnum Agency.
Social reportage is his
favorite subject. He came out with his most important work in 2004,
photographing the difficult reality of Skid Row, Los Angeles, which will be
soon become a book, "Lost Angels".
His reportages have been published in magazines in Italy and

the US
and exhibited
internationally. In the meanwhile he has been doing corporate
photography for companies like Classica, Avignonesi, Rosss. His
commercial work has appeared in various magazines in Italy and
abroad: Monsieur, Grazia, Atmosphere, Ulisse, Arrivederci, Til, Il
Gambero Rosso and Slow Food (cover photo).
Alfredo Falvo has been teaching
at the Cortona Center of Photography since 2001.
He speaks fluent English. |
